As odd as it might sound, I actually have a non-sexual question related to these.

So, in random clips I've seen of people in a foam party, everyone seems genuinely soaking wet, but I'm curious how much of that is actually from the foam itself, and how much is just sweat from dancing and what not.

I'm writing a story, and the foam, and just how much moisture saturation it can generate is significant to the plot. So, if you were exposed to one of the foam machines they use, and it was pouring out the foam at a steady volume, does it get you wet pretty quick? Basically, I'm trying to see if it would be a reasonable form of emergency fire suppression for a story, being the only thing on hand at the time the people are caught in the fire. Obviously I doubt it's as effective as an actual fire extinguisher, or actual fire fighting foam that is designed to deal with it. But, the stuff in question won't be that, it's basically just bubbles and some water to it, like, what you would find in a foam party, to hopefully quench the fires long enough for people to escape.

Any thoughts on it?

It does get you pretty wet, the whole deal is very slippery and it's not just from sweat. The ones I've been in have been flavored (Pina colada foam is the absolute worst, btw) so that might affect it's fire fighting capabilities.

It would probably be enough to put out a fire, tho I'm not that familiar with the mechanics of it. I dont know if it's pumped out by hoses or just leaked out of a machine or anything

Some of the footage I've seen, it's been pumped out of a hose, down onto the patrons below. And if it's significantly wet then that's perfect for what I had in mind. Flavoring aside, the wetness is what I was curious about. Thanks xD
