Question?-LOR-conquest-PS3

Can someone tell me if LOR Conquest is similar to LOR-Return of the King for PS2. My son wants to have Conquest but we don't have a PS3. He wants the game to have multi players and this is the only LOR PS2 game that is multiplayer.

Yes, they are very similar. Conquest, however, places you in the battle a a regular soldier, as opposed to Gimli or whatnot (however if you do well, you can play as your faction's hero).

It's only a rip off of Star Wars Battlefront II anyway.
