Question of the Day, March 1, 2010

Millions of homes have a Nintendo Wii. Assuming yours is one of them, how often do you use it?

We barely touch the damn thing, mainly because we just can't be bothered to buy games for it.

Well we got one as a family console two years or so ago...
Considering we had it that long, I haven't played it for over a year, and only played it half a dozen times since we got it.
Just didn't seem as interesting as... well, anything else, really.
And I was afraid of breaking another light-bulb... ;-;

I used it for the first time in 7 months yesterday, as a friend brought over Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

God I regret having purchased that white piece of junk >_>

Oh yeah... I forgot I had one of those.

Honestly, I haven't played with my Wii in ages. It just sits there, unused and pale. My Wii is pretty much useless right now. However, once the new The Legend of Zelda title is released, I'll be playing with my Wii constantly...

That is, of course, if you can break me away from Pokemon: SoulSilver. I love me some Pokemon.

A lot more now that I have Super Metroid and the rest of the Virtual Console since I took it online.

I don't own a Wii, my reasoning being that I have played one a few times, with a few different games, both solo and with friends, and have not once enjoyed it.

Our Wii console is gathering dust next to our PS3 and our Xbox360. The Metroid and Resident Evil games were interesting enough, but they just don't have the appeal of Mass Effect and the 8001050F error message.

I had to bust the crust off of my Wii last month when No More Heroes 2 came out, but otherwise it usually just sits there in the shadow of my PS3 and 360. Overall I would say I only play it when an important game is released, or when I want to go back and play old Gamecube games (which is more frequently than I want to play Wii games, turns out).

I'd call myself an official Twilight Princess fishing addict. Also nothing takes the edge off like a good game of Star Fox 64. Thank you virtual console.

I only use it for when my gf wants to play some of the super mario wii with me, and for Wii fit +...

Sticking to the right diet, I'm saving money instead of going to the gym and getting the same results with the thing. It's sad that most people under estimate it.

Edit: Not to mention that I end up playing through Silent Hill Shattered Memories a lot because I have a lot of friends who like Silent Hill but are horrible at playing games, so I end up playing through it for their entertainment.. Fine by me though, I enjoy having some one to laugh with when I spazz out and drop the controller!

I may, if I owned one. At least then I could use it, because it wouldn't have been stopped dead by a calender bug.

Pretty much every day, although I use my N64 more. I'm working through Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime 3. I mostly use it for multiplayer.

My main gaming device remains my PC, but I like the Wii enough to use it pretty much all the time.

EDIT: I seem to have been the first person to vote for 'all the time'. This worries me.
And I the second...

I use the wii a lot (especially since NMH2 came out)

I only keep my Xbox 360 here at college so thats what I usually play, but when I go home on the weekends I occasionally play on the Wii because I have grown tired of lugging my Xbox 360 to and fro from Shippensburg to Chambersburg

I'd say I use it just a little then my Gamecube; so fairly frequently. I bought it for the the Nintendo Games, same reason I buy any Nintendo consoles. I play games on a PC and on the Wii. I just switch between them whenever there's a game that interests me.

Got it as a wedding present, and it was fun with the fam for a while, but then started collecting dust. Lately, though, it's been my lifeline because my #@$% XBox is showing RROD.
