As we all know, we have many incodences where we go "Wow...This person is stupid...I have lost fate in humanity." But something hit me today. Chuck Norris as some of you may know wished Justin Bieber a happy birthday. What does the internet do? Go ballistick that their "God" would so much as show their "Spawn of Satan" the slightest of kindness.

In frustration of this, I posted this image [http://9gag.com/gag/3159867] on 9Gag. It's a bit long, so brace yourselves if you must but in all honesty, why do you hate Justin Bieber? Because he makes "shitty" music? He may not have had experience with love, but at least this boy made an effort to make something meaningful rather than another club song about getting drunk and getting laid.

Is it because he's cocky bastard that is indulging himself in his fame? Well no, he's pretty much a marketing puppet. Who do you really hate? The people that made him this way. You hate the fans for praising his somewhat decent talent that has gotten worse from lack of effort. You hate Raymond and Braun Media Group for exposing him this quickly and boasting him up to be the next big star. You hate yourselves for making him this abomination on Earth.

None of us are being humane about this. He hit puberty "late" because we all eat too much shit that messes with our hormones, making us mature faster. He became famous just to bring in cash. We're hating the mask, the doll, the toy, the actor for what the mastermind director is doing.

You can hate his music all you want. Just stop hating him. Stop being ignorant.

I make fun of Justin Bieber because he is some random famous little kid stupid people like. That's about where it ends. I don't hate him more than I hate mayonnaise in my hamburgers and niether should anyone else who doesn't know him in person.

Pretty much in agreement. I hate primarily what he stands for, and his music is a bit dull but when it first came out, I was thrilled for even the slightest for brakes from Pitbull.

Aside from that and the annoying fans, I don't hate him. I barely know him. All I know is he was a lucky kid that got his hopes and dreams granted to an extent. If we were given the same option, we'd be in similar situations. All of us, I bet. If not, most. And I don't mean like fame and fortune, I mean your greatest dream granted with the price of doing exactly as the granter instructs.

Meh...

Bieber-fever seems to be more-or-less non-existent where I live, so this doesn't mean a lot to me. But what is so bad about people mocking him on the internet? I've heard the "baby" song and seen the video, and it's lame...so why not mock it?

Hating things can be purely recreational. I wouldn't kick Jeremy Kyle under a bus if I had the chance, but I do despise who he is and what he does. At the same time, I know a lot of people who think he's great, that's the polarizing nature of celebrity.

Your analysis is strange. If people are entering puberty earlier, what explains the rise of underdeveloped manboys? If anything, low-testosterone males like Justin are more common than ever.

As for "we would all do the same thing in his shoes", I disagree. For me education is more valuable than the extra money and fame he has. I don't feel anything like "hate" towards Beiber, he's just one of the pop stars who I'd prefer not to see or hear.

What? Who cares, Justin Bieber probably benefits from all this publicity, more than anything else. Besides which I don't think many of the people who call him the spawn of satan and consider Chuck Norris to be their god are quite being 100% genuine, either. It's a similar sort of thing to memes, no-one should be getting worked up over it.

Why is your completely irrelevant and unnecessary defence of him any better the general internet populaces' completely irrelevant and unnecessary hatred of him?

it's just ignorant. You're all being ignorant.

That's how dumb you sound!

All joking aside, I find it amusing that you seem to think that Chuck Norris is the God of the internet.

EVERYONE knows that Batman has FAR eclipsed the roundhouse king in awesomeness.

I don't hate Bieber, I hate his fans that just drone on and on about him to the point of obsession. I don't mean all his fans and I don't automatically hate someone because they like Bieber, I hate people who constantly harp on about how perfect he his simply because of the frequency they talk about it.

I don't watch TV (I see all my stuff online by streaming, which is still legal where I live), I don't watch the news, I read only respected newspapers, I don't hang around on 4chan or similar imageboards, I don't post comments on youtube, and I don't listen to the radio. Thus, It wasn't until just six months ago I knew who Justin Beiber were.
When I did, and when I learned of all the rage against him, I frowned. "Uh, why don't you just stop watching American Idol or listen to the radio?". I mean, he's been active for how many years, and I JUST HEAD OF HIM?
Why don't you do what I do? Why don't you simply tune out the crap-making-factory that is commercial media and just read the important news?
The question isn't "Why do you hate X?", the question is "If you hate him, why do you feel the need to keep listening/watching X and then posting your hate?".

I loathe reality-tv. What do I do? I don't watch it. Or read about it. I actively ignore it.
Works wonders.

He wrote an autobiography at 16.. What's not to hate? While your point on him being a marketing puppet is perfectly valid (See South Park The Ring), him allowing it makes him a mafia wife, so to speak.

Okey, I haven't read the thing, but I seriously doubt he wrote a book by himself at the age of sixteen..

The point isn't "Stop mocking his work." It's "Stop mocking him." This boy has literally done nothing wrong by his own will. He's a corporate puppet, that's all. In fact, no matter how popular they are a lot of artists go through that.

The famous Country artist, Toby Keith never had a say in his early albums. He was made to write songs about certain things, it was in his contract. Justin is pretty much going through this. Aside from that, he's really just a small town boy being pushed into the big world without any preparation.

Clearly we've experienced polar opposites. As studies have shown, the modern average age for a man to hit puberty is 11 - 12. This does not mean there aren't cases where a kid doesn't start until he's 16, I didn't start until I was 14. I believe the chemicals that we put in our bodies, like all the junk food, all the fast food, it all messes with our growing patterns, making it rapid or slow.

You did not read what I said. I said "If someone came and promised you all your hopes and dreams, everything you could wish for." This means what YOU want personally. Justin wanted a singing career, and to get that he was probably asked to do everything he does now without say. What would want more than anything in this world? What is your dream to be fulfilled? Under any circumstances, what would have to be offered to you to force you to follow a set of rules?

You would do the same if offered the equivalent of what he was offered. For my girlfriend as example, it would be enrollment into college with a sure shot to becoming and IT Professional. That is her dream currently.

I agree with you that increasingly early starts to puberty are a scientific fact. I'm just pointing out that overall testosterone levels are falling as well, so boys who retain a childish or even feminine look to their faces into their teen years are not necessarily becoming more rare.

I see your point. Obviously, "just following your dreams" doesn't excuse everything in the world (e.g. it's OK to comment negatively on Hitler, even though he was just following his dreams), but in this case I agree there's nothing with it.

First of all, Chuck Norris is an idiot:

Why do you have a problem with people hating on a person you don't care about?
Someone wise once said:
"You measure your success with the number of people hating on you".
The fact is, with fame and success come the haters. It's a part of the deal. Don't want people to be hating on you? Don't be successful.

People like to have something to expel hatred towards, and blow off steam, but it has to be someone with a face and a name. They also want a reason they can cling to hate them. Also, it's apparently cool to hate popular things.

Justin Bieber makes terrible music, but is very popular anyway.

You can see how that might work.

I rather like him. I find the hate purely inexplicable. But seeing how I've been on the internet for years, the "inexplicable" is pretty common, so I don't get really worked up about it.

He certainly makes the Far East Movement single "Live My Life" tolerable, which makes him a Godsend seeing that people at work play that song endlessly.

Also, he inspires me to go to the gym, as he now has larger muscles than me, and I MUST FIX THIS BEFORE ANYONE FINDS OUT!

I'm really surprised that there are actually people out there who unironically like Chuck Norris, I was under the assumption that he was just an interchangeable macho action hero to serve as the template for that '*Insert name here* Facts' meme. As for my personal feelings towards either Chuck or Bieber I really couldn't give a shit about either one of them. While the latter makes obnoxiously irritating music, I'm not being tied down to a chair and forced to listen to it and it's gotten to the point I just sigh and roll my eyes every time some kid thinks he's being really fucking clever by making some platitudinous jibe towards Beiber on any Youtube music video. >.> Really I'm just sick of seeing this kid's name in any facet being dragged into conversation, I think most people on the Internet; regardless of whether or not what's being said about him is derogatory are just sick and tired of hearing about Justin Beiber. He's an annoyance, the people who hate on him arbitrarily are an annoyance, really I can't conjure the energy to actually give enough of a shit to feel any seering animosity towards him, I'm just sick of how omnipresent he has become. I don't want to hear about him, but at the same time it's not really a big deal, it's simply an annoyance.

Castrato? The removal of ones bollocks at a young age so that they can continue to sing like a young child?

The lack of testosterone would also explain the worrying amount of teen males with girls hair cuts and skin tight jackets!
