Hello all fellow escapists.

I'll make this quick. I'm part of a crew running a larger LAN party in Sweden. We have roughly 800-1000 participants annualy, and every year we run what we call "funtours" i.e. small tournaments that players sign up for on the spot and play for the next two hours. Prizes range from steelseries computer peripherals to plastic fairy wings bought for less than a dollar from a novelty store. Simply put it's all silly and the games that we play often reflect this.

Now, give me som good ideas for games that can be played quickly and that anyone can pick up and hopefully win at. We already have plans to host tournaments in:

Robot unicorn attack
QWOP
Sumotori dreams
Toribash
Gene rally
Achtung die kurve
Icy Tower

...and a few others, but I'm sure there are many more of the same kind. So lets band together for gaming, honour, friendship and all that good stuff and make the best list of mini games ever. Prefferably they should be cheap or freeware and run on a PC, but we can of course get a hold of consoles as well if the game is so good it's worth it.

The 2 Serious Sam Encounters has really good fun PvP and co-operative PvE of up to 16 that can be played on LAN.

Ya some Serious Sam level speed runs would be pretty spiffy.
You could also try Unreal Tournament 2004, turn on all mutators and set the game speed at a toasty 150%, it will be insane.

Well...
I know of a game for pc and mac, called Black Shades... It's pretty good, for a freeware single person fps.
Also, TF2 is good, easy-ish to pick up, and free.
