[Commander Nines]

Okay, because a little part of me is going insane because of having to wait for Skyrim, I figured I'd post something to help take my mind off of it. So we all have inherited traits from our parents, the joy of genetics and all, but we also inherit quirks. Little things that we share in families. Like I have my dad's sense of humor, and my mothers annoying tendency to sing silly songs that pop into my head. When you live with people for the majority of your developmental years, its normal for these to happen. So I ask you, my dear escapists, what did you inherit from your parents or other family members?

Being extremely verbose from my mother, along with depression. It also helps that I look like a male version of her.

A love of animals.

That's the only thing I can think of aside from appearances.

I've seemed to have inherited quite a lot from my father (as horrible a thought as that is)
I've a very logical mind, very dulled emotions and i can normally figure out mechanical things quite quickly, cars, technology etc.

Actually, thinking about it, i think my dad might have been this guy!!

I look just like my mom (people who've never seen us together recognize us as mother and daughter) but I'm incredibly short and have broad shoulders from my dad's side (None of my female cousins are over 5'3 and none of my male cousins are under 6'). I inherited my mom's manner of thinking which doesn't work well when we argue.

Get my looks from my dad and my temper from my mum. Which makes our arguments really annoying as we just both end up calling each a hypocrite and screaming at each other.
Also get her music taste (thank god) and a mixture of both of their sense of humours.

My bad temper and stubborness is inherited from my dad.

I inherited a lot from my father.
The weird sense of humor, the love of candy, needing a cool pillow to sleep,
easily figuring out electronics/mechanics without instructions, the logical thinking...

The only thing I seem to have inherited from my mother is the body,
meaning I got a crummy back and extreme pains once a month... :S

When I hear certain phrases I sing. My mother and grandmother both do that. Essentially if someone is talking and they say something thats a line from a song, typically an older one, we sing a little snippet from that song.
