So in the past two days I have encountered numerous problems with my 360. Any and all help would be appreciated.

So a little over a month ago I purchased a plug and play charge pack that did not work. The charging light on the cable would just not come on. Finally, after some time, I brought it back, and was given another one off the shelf. Completely new as far as I can tell. Still just about a month ago (a little over but even if the thing were connected 24/7 it shouldn't be enough time for the pack to go bad). And as of late last night, the light won't turn on and the battery won't charge. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there anything I can try other than buying a new one? Because if I have to buy a new one every month batteries are going to end up being cheaper.

The other issues I'm having are with Fable 2. Old game, I know, but:
Whenever I buy anything that should go under miscellaneous, like a hairstyle or makeup, it does not show up. The game debits money and all that good stuff but I never receive the items. However, when the item comes another way, like a prize or a gift, it shows up just fine.
The other issue is I just don't have the fetch expression. Its just... not there.

So if you can help at all, please, please do.

Does your Play & Charge cable still work? I mean if you connect it to your console and controller without a battery pack, can you still use the controller?

If you can still use the controller with the cable and without a battery, that means the cable is fine and is still transferring power, but the problem could actually be with the controller.

If you've bent the battery connections in the controller slightly (so that they don't form a proper circuit with the battery pack) then the battery won't charge and the light won't come on. I've done the same with my controller, bent the springy battery connections so the Play & Charge kit won't charge a battery, but it still transfers power and allows me to use my controller like a wired one without batteries (I just slot the empty AA battery pack in the back of the controller).

Alternatively, the battery could be broken and unable to hold any charge.

However, if you can't use your battery-less controller when the Play & Charge kit is plugged in and connected, then the problem is either that the cable is broken and not transferring power, or that the USB port is faulty and not transferring power to the Play & Charge cable itself.

As for your Fable 2 issues:

It's been a long time since I've played Fable 2, but if I recall correctly, you don't store purchased hairstyles and make-up in your inventory, you just buy them and they're instantly applied (so you need to revisit the stylist every time you want a change).
DLC and prize/gifted hairstyle and make-up cards are stored in your inventory (and can be applied and re-applied at will), but shop based cosmetic changes stay at the shop.

You need to have a rubber ball in your inventory to use the Fetch Expression, which can be bought (from a General Goods shop) and stored in the 'Miscellaneous' section of your inventory the same as the lute. Can you buy a lute and use the Lute Expression?

I can't really think of any other reason as to why the 'Miscellaneous' section of your inventory isn't working... apart from if you've started playing Fable 2 after playing Fable 3, then it could seem like the 'Miscellaneous' section is broken because the inventory mechanics for the items you've mentioned are slightly different.
