A great many of us know our hobby pretty well. However, I do like to hear something new every once in a while. Share with us some little-known game-related facts!

Did you know that Final Fantasy VII was originally slated to be an N64 release? It was moved to the PlayStation due to technical limits. FF7 would have taken thirteen cartridges to meet its equivalent on the PlayStation.

EDIT:Here's another one, the musician Mike Patton has done voices for games such as Left 4 Dead (Zombies), Portal (Anger Sphere), The Darkness (The Darkness' Voice), and Bionic Commando (The main character) and is known to be an avid gamer.

What was the first console to have an online feature? If you answered the Apple Pippin... not quite. Surprisingly, it was the SNES! Seriously. Nintendo made a modem peripheral for the SNES called the Satalleview. The peripheral allowed users to download gaming news and specifically designed games. That's right... Nintendo invented Downloadable Content.
