So I thought of this while looking back at some old school games one day. One in particular, a certain light gun game that had you explore an undead infested carnival full of freaks, mutants and other weird sideshow creatures just waiting to give you a killer performance. This game was called Carn-Evil and my gosh it was scary for me when I was young. But now I look back and see a really good light gun game and a really terrifying situation. So basically the scenario is this:

You are trying to figure if the legend of Ludwig Von Tokkentakker (evil ringmaster who ran Carn-Evil) is real or not. The legend is that if you give the stone jester head on top of Von Tokkentakker's tomb a token, Carn-Evil shall return. You go to the graveyard where the tombstone would be located and try to find the so-called cursed slab of concrete, but to no avail. Well that is until you do find Von TokkenTakker's tombstone and the tombstone looks to be as real as the legend describes. A tombstone with a head of a jester, along with a token to feed him with. The question is, would you take the risk and possibly release a dark force upon this town, full of zombie clowns and mutated carnival performers? Or would you just called that a night and head home?

I would seriously turn back around if I saw that tombstone. No way in hell would I go through so many killer attractions full of zombie clowns, zombie mimes and a Jason rip-off with a machine gun for an arm. Also a ghost with an obsession with axes, a giant, animated teddy bear of death and finally an annoying floating jester head who won't shut up. Yeah, I would turn tail and head home.
