Because Google/Wikipedia doesn't work on your computer?

In his 1977 autobiography CEO Ray Kroc prohibited the company from selling hot dogs, regardless of potential demand, as he regarded them as unhygienic; however, hot dogs were introduced in 1995 at some Midwestern located stores (at the option of the franchise-holder) as a summer item. UK stores sold hot dogs during the late nineties on the McChoice menu (later PoundSaver). Also, at least one American restaurant offered Oscar Mayer hot dogs at some time, notably in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, and McDonald's locations at Toronto Metro Zoo and SkyDome in Toronto offered hot dogs until 1999. In Tokyo locations, hot dogs were available in 2001, and have been reintroduced for 2009, dubbed the "McHot Dog."

You're welcome.

Hahahahahahaha! Wow, that shut this thread down pretty fast huh.

Sorry OP, you may wan't to research things before you make a thread about them. Also, try to always use a title that is relative to the thread.

Welcome to the Escapist, enjoy your stay and for the love of whatever god you believe in stay out of the basement.

It probably costs too much to be practical. Everyone likes their hotdogs differently. Onions? Cheese? Sauce? Tomato, BBQ or something else? Chili? etc etc etc. Making hot dogs to order means queues are gonna end up longer which means they'd need to hire more staff. It also means they'd have to install onion bins or whatever in plain sight of the customer which is NOT CHEAP as they'd have to design it individually by store.

If they didn't make the hot dogs to order, why would people go to macas? People would buy their lunch from wendy's or a hotdog stand if they had a craving.

Is that even allowed? I feel I should report it, but I don't want to cause a fuss over nothing.

It seems pretty pathetic, regardless.

No don't. There are hardly any people who go onto the advice forum but if he really wanted attention he could have requested it be put up in the hot topic group or something if he's in the hot topic group. This thread proberly won't get many views any ways so don't bother. It is pathetic but extreamly funny also. I've never seen him around though usually i reconise peoples avartars.
