This is my first RP, inspired by the "velociraptor attack" thread.
Here's the back story, basic plot-A scientific research company has an off-shore island in an undisclosed location. The island was used to recreate dinosaurs and it is rumored that some experimental weapons. They used a teleportation gate called a rift-gate (it looks like the one from Stargate Atlantis...I saw it on the commercials...shut-up) to get to the island from their main research facility in British Columbia near the Washington border. It's summer. They "genetically engineered" the dinosaurs-mostly raptors and a few giganotosaurs, but when more and more start coming through the gate the original story of how these animals came to be comes under scrutiny. You may use any dromaeosaurid and if you don't know what that means use wikipedia. You can be the dinosaurs too should you so choose or you can be a human...or a rabbit whatever floats your boat but you cannot be a rubber dingy. I'll start.
The guards lined up in front of the gate about 20 feet back. Those with shotguns in the front, pistols in the middle, SMGs on the back. 2 mounted LMGs were on the second floor railing to the sides. A medic was tending to a janitor who had collapsed at the rift-gate entrance; recalling what happened. An officer came out, carrying an STG 58 and stood on the catwalk connecting the 2 sides of the second floor. Another man stumbled through the gate, badly injured. The medic rushed to his side but before he could get there a utahraptor lunged out of the rift gate and onto the man. The officer-Lieutenant Moneybags- aimed his rifle and fired 4 rounds into the raptor. Two more came through the gate and the guards down below opened fire. The main gate area fell silent-but not for long. A giganotasaur came though, taking out the guards on the first floor in one swipe of its head, eating the two at the LMGs. Officer Moneybags emptied his clip and ran, this building wasn't safe anymore.
