Has anyone else got tickets for this?
I managed to get mine and I could not be more excited, the line up looks amazing.
Particularity excited by Maximo Park and The Gaslight Anthem.

Plus, Rise Against have self confirmed. I will actually JIMP seeing them live.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

erm, yar my mates got tickets and they want me to buy one off them, but I haven't heard of many of the bands except basically the kaiser chiefs and kings of leon and I'm not sure if its worth the £183 ticket. Persuade me...

I tried to get tickets but they sold out pretty quick, and I'm not paying £350 to some prick on Ebay, so I guess I'm not going.

Everyone in my school has been going on about this, well actually the Leeds one.
IMO there's only three decent bands playing and I don't have a spare £180-odd to spend on that when I could easily go see my favourite band that's playing at Leeds Fest a couple of weeks earlier for much much much less.

I'm not sure what Music you like, but here is a selection of the best bands (IMO) in the Line up
Kings Of Leon, Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, The Prodigy, RadioHead, The Kasier Chiefs, Placebo, Eagles of Death Metal, Enter Shikari, The Gaslight Anthem, Maximo Park, Rise Against

and more.

If that's not worth £180, i don't know what is.

I'd wouldn't mind going, but I can't afford tickets this year.

The line up isn't spectacular though - Maximo Park, The Prodigy, The Courteneers and Friendly Fires are great. But Kaiser Chiefs have gone seriously downhill as have Fall Out Boy; Vampire Weekend are meh and YeahYeahYeahs are just terrible. Kings of Leon are alright I guess.

I haven't really heard Arctic Monkey's more recent stuff or the rest of the other bands though. Really should have.

i been to reading last last year, tbh, i prefered T in the Park in scotland. the crowd makes the festival, and reading attracts a bad crowd imo, last last year they were throwing gas canisters onto fires and burning tents. the next few days after the festival i was blowing my nose and black was coming out. T in the park is now 3 days long as opposed to 2. check it out, im not sure on cost, but the crowd is 10x better. after reading i vowed never to attend again, too many dumb teenagers
