Reading posters like a book?

Do you ever look at someones avatar/name to figure out what kind of person they are? Also do you remember the person more with there avatar or there name.I mean I change my avatar a lot and a lot of people on the forums have unique avatars that I use to remember who they are. I could not tell you there names at all though. I'm thinking though if you change your avatar do people not recognize you?

I try to read their profile page to see what they are like....sometimes that doesn't help.

I don't judge people by their usernames or avatars. Everyone seems to think I'm a furry because of my username.

I do have this uncanny ability to guess what people look like by observing their posting styles. It works about 85% of the time.

and from your posting style I say that you spend alot of time on the computer considering you have 16370 flippen posts

Its kinda hard to tell how sonmeone posts based on their name or avatar, thats like trying to figure out what a book will be about based on who was nearest to you when you bought it
also, if the persons my friend i'll associate their avatar with their name

I look at them. Mostly for additional info, such as country or birthdate. Rarely remember any of it unless it strikes me as funny.

Well, that's pretty obvious. It's winter here! There's nothing to do! I was at 3000 posts in December, that shows how bored I've been.

Unless they're _oo_oo_, that is.
Then I judge immediately and report 99/100 times.

Most of what I judge other users on is the content of their posts and their behavior online. If they're not a dick, and can make good points, I'm perfectly fine with them. If not, I just ignore the hell out of them.

I tend to remember the avatar and then shorty after that the name. I have a fairly bad memory though so when people change their avatars it screws me over, so i have learnt to pay more attention to the name.
