Game looks incredible. its also a story driven single player game. ie far more than rainbow six siege was.

this looks like old school tactical shooter like rainbow six raven shield. shame Q4 2020 is far away.

Looks good though it does look rough around the edges so Q4 2020 seems like a good date. I don't really care about story or characters, SWAT4 didn't have a story or real characters and it's one of my favorite games of all time. All I need is a team-based, tactical, realistic shooter where I can choose my loadout and a big variety of interesting missions.

but story and characters are necessary otherwise it feel like you are playing with bots.

SWAT 4 was more of police simulation while this looks more like tactical shooter like early rainbow six.

I only play these games with friends and sometimes randoms.

SWAT4 was a tactical shooter my dude, this looks a lot more like SWAT4 than R6. This has non-lethal takedowns, arrests, collect evidence/weapons, report arrests/dead suspects/hostages to HQ and more, even looks like they've pulled the ''You have FAILED the mission'' at 4:08 directly from SWAT4.

SWAT 4 was one of the best multiplayer experiences I ever had with friends. So I'm glad another game is trying to fill the niche it left behind.

I know it goes against the point of law enforcement and catching the bad guy, but I wonder they are gonna handle taking the lethal option because SWAT 4 put me in missions where you would think they would allow me to go weapons free and fire upon clearly hostile folks who clearly will not go down without a fight.

I mean I was up against Korean Terrorists who slaughtered a hospital for them to kill a VIP.

Weird question maybe, but does the trailer have Ready Or Not by The Fugees as music?

Can't listen to it right now. It should tho.

So a mix of SWAT4 and raven shield?

beside its nice to have such a tactical shooter in long time. maybe after 20 years. because rainbow six vegas turned series from tactical shooter to gears of war with terrorist and later rainbow six siege become MP only MLG game. new ghost recon is far cry third person coop.

Game like this is what we badly need. hardcore tactical shooter.

It's a scripted demo and I can already see the jank, stiff animations, low res polygons and crappy gunplay. And then we haven't even seen the AI yet. It's a cool premise for sure though the only games in the genre I ever enjoyed were Rainbow 6 Vegas 1&2. They hit that perfect middle ground of being a satisfying shooter but also having really well made tactical depth that doesn't end in tedious, repeat fail states. Games like this can easily get frustrating unless everything works perfectly and I somehow doubt that with a budget game in early access.

That is exactly what I am worried about.

But hopefully they do polish all this by Q4 2020.

Holy crap, $4.70 for a gallon of regular gas? Yikes. Don't get me wrong, I've been told that gas in places like Germany are through the roof.

I'm looking forward to this game, thanks for posting. I do think they could have chosen a better name though.

Something like "Go / No Go" or basically anything else. Dynamic Entry? Who Dares Wins? I dunno. 'Ready or Not' is just such a generic name, along the lines of 'Get Even'.

International incidents. You want to explain to Internal Affairs why you went weapons hot on an diplomatic affair? They need them alive

And going loud was perfectly viable for me as I scored in the 80's to 90's range but that requires knowledge that you are going in wih OVERWHELMING force. You dont open the door and pretend you are john wick or rainbow. You breach the door, toss a bang/gas/stingers and apply appropriate levels of lethal force. Chances are because you went in loud you force the bad guys to raise their guns and retaliate and they will likely lose because of that. You stay on the move, firing bursts to pin down foes so you can employ different pacification tactics while the bugger is shitting his pants because your squad have taken down his buddies.

That is how you go lethal.

I am not asking to go gunz a-blazin like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando.

I play like how describe in Rainbow Six 3 Raven Shield.

Also there are high risk warrant services that are domestic affairs so no international incidents. Like again, I had to deal with a domestic terror cell that slaughtered a Science facility doing stem cell research in SWAT 4.
