The Rebel Galaxy prequel was announced a few weeks back, but only with an animated trailer and an announcement trailer (that included a funny jab at Star citizen selling ships that don't exist,)

The background world is generally a bit more polished and refined. Random generation is no more, with stuff being designed completely now. You play as Juno in the prequel, rather then the blank protagonist.
The obvious big change is the cockpit based space fighting, rather then the "Black Flag" in space style of the prior game. Which is a bit of a mixed bag. Its hard to get a feel for it watching someone else play that sort of thing compared to playing it myself. And there's always the problem of battles becoming unnavigable chaos in first person space combat (and the ship he's using certainly seems to block a lot of cockpit view). Though he does demonstrate their auto-pursuit thing, which is designed to kind of alleviate that (but flying on a predictable AI controlled path also tends to be bad in space combat situations, so I dunno)
