I have £20 to spend on steam, what should I get? I'm tempted to get Dead Rising: Off the Record, because I found (and still find) Dead Rising 2 a lot of fun.

What do you guys think?

Borderlands: GOTY edition is on sale for $8 and if you have people to play it with, its really good.
Same goes for Killing Floor. Off the Record is pretty good, too, although I'm not a huge fan of Dead Rising.

Get L4D2 for $6.79. Actually, everyone do that, because it's 66% off.

Holy fuck, really? I've been waiting months for a sale because things I buy always go on sale right after, now's my chance. Thank you for pointing this out. I am a happy green llama penis thing.

EDIT: Double post was not intentional. Good thing there's one between.

No problem.
On that note, I'd also say that Dead Island is pretty good for anyone who liked Borderlands (The RPG and tons of weapons elements); from what I've played it is basically Borderlands with melee weapons and zombies, which I though was pretty awesome.

Yeah, L4D2 or Boderlands. I'd also add the Stalker games, two of which are on sale for like ?5 on Steam. They have zombies.

However, if you really like Dead Island, maybe the first game you said is the way to go....

Dude... just buy 3 or 4 games from gog. I recommend the disciples series. Or heroes of might and magic. (I prefer disciples)

Borderlands! Seriously, get it. Dead Rising OTR is basically Dead Rising 2 with another roller-coaster.

Thank you all for your suggestions, however, I have most of the games suggested to me, haha. The only STALKER game I have is Shadow of Chernobyl, which I didn't find too good. Are the other STALKER games better, and worth getting?

Well, you should put a disclaimer on that. Get it IF you have friends to play with. Otherwise it's pretty much the most boring thing ever.

I'll recommend something... well, 'surprising' I guess: Alpha Protocol. If you like games like Mass Effect, or Deus Ex and you want to see how "Player Decision Done Right" works. I got it when it was 2 euros and had a lot of fun with it.

I just bought the DEAD SPACE bundle. $14 isn't bad for both games. Heard that they were really good.

Done and done. I'm really excited about this, since I no longer have Xbox Live or a functioning disc for the game.

OT: Left 4 Dead 2, Morrowind, and Borderlands are all good bets.
If it's cheap, Singularity is worth giving a shot. Kind of generic, but it's got some cool elements, and it's fun to play online.
