Brooklyn nine-nine is about the 99th precinct of brooklyn police department, where an immature but gifted detective along with a few other folks get a new stricter police captain. I just recently marathoned it and I love it. I love its dialogue, the quick witted humour, the occasional absurdity, and I pretty much like everyone of the characters.

It is honestly one of the best sitcoms i've seen in years. Any one else see it?

Its definitely one of the best ive seen in a long time and its proof that american sitcoms can be good.

The jokes and dialogue are funny enough for them to not rely on a laughter track (which is a pet hate of mine). If its not funny enough for your audience to actually decide whats funny without a cue then chances are its not funny at all

The banter is really good and its the kind of banter you'd actually see in a work place. The characters fit really well together and play off each other. The actors are good too, terry crews is a very good comedic actor (white chicks, everybody hates chris) and Andy Samberg is funny too (lonely islands stuff is genius). I also have a bit of a crush on Rosa shes such a badass

Its one of my favourites at the minute and id thoroughly recommend ir

Its ok...it reminds me a little bit of Scrubs. It has potential to be better, at the moment it has bits that make me laugh but not constantly, but I don't hate it.

Best sitcom I've seen in years, love pretty much everything about it, desperately wish that it was more popular.

It won 2 Emmys I'm pretty sure people liked it.

Honestly when the first round of trailers were coming out I thought "Oh my god, this is going to be the worst thing ever!"
Then I watched the first episode and thought "That was legitimately funny"
then I watched the second, and third and every single episode and everyone of them made me laugh my fucking ass off.

I sure hope that the plot point at the end of Season 1 actually goes some where... but I'm looking forward to season 2 and 3 and pretty much every future season up until they have to re cast someone or jump the shark

It took me a few episodes to get into it but it turned out to be a great sitcom. I found myself not hating any of the characters so that was definitely a plus. It soon became one of the shows I looked forward to watching every week and I look forward to future seasons.

It is one of those TV shows I don't actively look for, but I will watch it when I flick through the channels and I have always found it quite enjoyable. I have made a mental note to sit down and watch it properly when I have the time.

I will perhaps get back into it, since you guys seem to enjoy it a lot. I just watched the first season and thought yeah that was mostly funny but not hilarious and I found Andy Sambergs character a bit too annoying overall. Normally I love SNL and Lonely Island but B99 is more "a sitcom with Andy Samberg in it" than the humor I like about the stuff he normally does.

I enjoy watching it even when it's not being funny, because the cast is so likeable and the storylines so entertaining that episodes don't need to fall back on the humour all the time (if that makes any sense). The pre-opening credits scenes are usually an indication of where an episode is going, and fortunately they're usually pretty damn funny. Sergeant Holt is a boss!
