So, me and my class are going on a two week trip to France (yay me!) and traditionaly the only time I buy games are before a plane ride longer then galf an hour, so, I need a game. To be specific, a long lasting game. I already have tons and I don't want to type them all out on my ipod, so please add more then one. I'm looking for an rpg or something with a big world to explore, or both preferably. Games I have are pokemon pearl, soul silver, final fantidy tactics ad 2, and others. Thanks in advance.

Well, I haven't played Monster Rancher yet, so I'll take LordNue's advice on that.

Anyways, I would say Zelda: Phantom hourglass is good. As well as Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Knights in the Nightmare (a RPG game where you collect souls of the dead and have them fight for you, and one living maiden later on), also Tetris is good for eating up hours of your time. I would say Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside story is good but as Yahtzee claims, you can literally beat the game without getting hit if you time your dodges right.

If this trip of yours happened around March, I'd GREATLY recommend Okamiden, but thats just me.

Hope this helps!

Super Robot Taisen OG Saga:Endless Frontier!

Its a really fun JRPG that will last you a good long while.
The story and characters are good, the fighting system is fun, the art is awesome, and the music is amazing.

All I got for my DS is Animal Crossing and Pokèmon Platinum and SoulSilver.
Since you are already in possession of Pokèmon I'll go with Animal Crossing Wild World.
MORE than enough stuff to keep you busy for a month.

The World Ends With You. I'm not a huge JRPG fan, and this is just Japanese culture wank, but the game really is addictive. Lots of stuff to collect, and a really unique battle system that take full advantage of the DS. I'd recommend that.

I don't like that one. Ask me why, if you will. I'm too tired to bother now.

I will recommend Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and The World Ends With You. I don't play my DS enough to form a solid opinion.

The World Ends With You!

It's an RPG (I dunno whether I should call it a JRPG, but whatever.) with real-time combat that takes place on both screens at the same time[footnote]You get used to it real fast, don't worry.[/footnote], an interesting story, good characters, T-O-N-S to do, it'll last you a good long time. And you'll love ever second of it.

EDIT: ARGH ninja'd.

I'd recommend Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies if you're looking for a long-lasting RPG. There's a semi-large world to explore, and lots of stuff to do (I have 70 hours logged, and I'm not tired of it yet; maybe I'm a glutton for punishment).

It's fairly lighthearted, and doesn't take itself overly seriously, which is a positive in my book.

Good luck in your search, pal. Hope you have a fun trip.

If you can find it, The World Ends With You. Best DS Game in existance. Failing that, get a pokemonz game.
