Recommend a good gaming computer/laptop

Hi, my computer is crapping out on me and I need a new one. I'm on a budget and can't spend more than about $1000 and would prefer to keep it under 800 if i could. Please recommend some good ones for me, and add any comments on it you like, anything helps.

Where do you live and will you build it yourself or want a premade desktop?

You could really save a lot of money building a desktop yourself, if you're alright with going that route.

There is no such thing as a really good gaming laptop to be honest. And the only quality ones sell for around $2000, so it sure isn't in your budget.

Sadly the same thing goes for buying a premade gaming PC. If you want a quality machine for your budget, you need to build it yourself.
