Hi,
I am studying at University of Economics in Prague, and I was thinking about studying one term abroad, as it is a good experience and opportunity. Currently, (AFAIK) there are almost none video game related courses taught at my university or other universities in Czech Republic, but I have heard that some universities, especially in Great Britain, USA and Australia, have entire fields of study on that topic. Could you recommend such an university?
Conditions:
- Must teach courses about video game design, development, marketing etc.
- Classes taught in English language
- Must accept foreign students from Czech Republic
I am in no rush about this, because I will not be able to study abroad sooner than in two years, but I want to find out, whether this is even possible.
Also, any other suggestions or ideas concerning this topic are welcome.

I intend to go to Full Sail University in Orlando, FL. It's expensive and has eight hour (Sometimes more) classes so there's that to consider.

I'm going to the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY (USA).

They've got a great video game and computer sciences program. It's definitely one of the best schools for people like me, and hey, maybe you.

EDIT: They definitely teach English. They're also the center for NITD (National Institute for the Deaf). They also accept tons of foreign students. I see a lot of undergrads this year coming from places as far as Indonesia.

I go to Northumbria University in Newcastle-upon-tyne in the UK. I don't do games design, but there are really good courses available, and it's a great University too.

Here's the website [http://www.northumbria.ac.uk] check it out.

Dude, he said teach IN English not teach English, his post was perhaps one of the more succinct and error free paragraphs in these forums.

I know for a fact that the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland has several videogames related courses, as that's where I'm intending to go next year, and what I'm intending to study. In fact, I first heard about it in an issue of PC Gamer, where it was recommended as one of the best universities in Britain for getting into the games industry.

I can attest to this. I went through many Game Design and Development courses at RIT and the curriculum is pretty damn good.
