Recommend Me a Game: Sports

Hey Escapists,

I am actually not huge into players, statistics, and the like, but I am a big Football and Baseball video game fan.
I currently play Madden 11 with my old man, but I have been itching to do something I haven't seen since Triple Play Baseball in 2001:

Do you know of any Football/Baseball games that allows you to make a completely custom team from scratch? I don't mean fantasy football pick your own players, I mean custom made each and every player.

Any games out there that do that anymore that aren't 15 years old?

NBA Hangtime. Lets you create a roster with a midget werewolf, a giant Frankenstein monster, a chimpanzee with a viking helmet on, a beefy cute Asian chick with giant hands, and everything in between.

You should check out the indie game Super Mega Baseball [http://store.steampowered.com/app/314070/]. The art style is a little goofy but the controls are really tight, and it's one of the best feeling baseball games I've ever played. You can tell the developers love the game of baseball

It originally released on PS3 but I think it's on PS4 and Xbox One now, as well as Steam

Edit: Also the sequel [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZhu2Y5Gfio] is coming out next year which looks totally amazeballs
