Title covers it really.
I want a game for the 360, I don't mind what genre, old or new, I just want an engaging story.

Thank you :)

Eh, I'd recommend The Elderscrolls IV: Oblivion, if you haven't played it. Fair amount of customisations, lots of things to do, nice big game world, free-roam, good replayability, and, as I said, plenty to do <3
I poured in hundred of hours on the 360, and I'm now doing the same on PC, 64 hours so far >.>

Kameo: Elements of Power?
I still own that game. Oh god it's so awesome

OT: Engaging story? Lost Odyssey. It's a JRPG from the creator/director of Final Fantasy I-X and it's brilliant
I also, obviously, recommend Mass Effect 1&2 and Dragon Age
Condemned is also an underrated game. It's a first person horror game with great atmosphere, voice acting and a very interesting story (before it was ruined by the shite that was Condemned 2)

EDIT: Oh yeah, and Bioshock. Best atmosphere and immersion in pretty much any game I've played this generation

Played it? That game is part of the reason why I posted this. I can't seem to find a game which looks like it's storyline will even come close to Oblivion's. It upsets me.

Well theres Fallout 3 or New Vegas which are similar, I prefer Oblivion over them but they are still pretty good

assuming you have those though, I recommend Darksiders. Its not the greatest game ever but I really liked it. Its kinda like zelda/god of war/devil may cry in one game. Plus Mark Hammil does one of the voices with adds cool factor

Oblivion had a story, too!? All I remember is Patrick Stewart telling me how he's been dreaming about me and then fighting some dinosaurs from hell.

Engaging Story? You mean immersion? and for 360... Your two best bets would either be the Mass Effect trilogy or Fallout 3 and NV.

Well if you like Oblivion, as someone mentioned before, play FO3 or New Vegas. Consider the Assassin's Creed games as well. I bought the Orange Box yesterday and it's awesome. Red Dead Redemption is also an option. Dragon Age: Origins is also an interesting RPG.
