Due to the lack of games coming out in the summer I got kinda bored and watched different anime's and TV shows I have enjoyed but now I don't know any good anime's to watch.
Over the summer I finished Cowboy bebop and attack on titan and I thought both of them were alright. If anyone could recommend any good anime's that would be awesome.

Personal preferences:
Would prefer if it does not have many episodes and would be easy to catch up to I avoided one piece and Naruto because they are alot of episodes in and don't have time to catch up to them.

I don't really care if its in English or not as long as there are subtitles but I sometimes prefer English

I can put up with certain weird things eg monsters, Kawaii moments up to a certain point as long as the anime is not full of them.

List of anime I have heard of but have not seen yet would like opinions on them
Jo Jo bizarre adventures
Sword art online
neon genesis evangelion
Kill la Kill
High school of the dead

The alternative is to get a job and save up money for a vita and get Persona 4
Sorry for the wall of text any help would be appreciated thanks.

I've watched the first season of Sword Art Online, and I really enjoyed it, though there's some...weird stuff in the second half. To put it kindly, the bad guy is not only evil but also a major perv. Still an awesome series and awesome ending, but I found that a bit gratuitous and distracting sometimes. I've heard mixed reactions on the second season, but I haven't seen it myself so I can't compare.

Kill la Kill was made by the same people who made Gurren Lagaan, so if you liked that and want to see more go for it. If you haven't seen Gurren Lagaan...well then go watch that. It's just SO AWESOME.

I haven't seen the others, though I do know High School of the Dead is basically boobs and panties with some zombies on the side.

As for ones not on your list, I highly recommend Baccano in English. It's a great series for the summer, and due to it taking place in America just works much better in English. And the English cast is great. Slight trigger warning as far as gore, but it's not much worse than Attack on Titan so you should be fine. And Durarara is made by the same people, though I recommend you watch Baccano first because there's a point where they reference it and it will be much more fun if you can recognize the reference.

And all of the series I have brought up are one season long, so they should be just fine for you :3

Well I managed to watch the first season of sword art ( Yes I watched all episodes in 1 day and a bit) I though it was pretty good and I can see what you mean by the second part I found it to be weird at sometimes but I really liked the ending. Maybe I'll get around to watching the second season after a while when I watch Jo Jo's thanks for the recommendation :D

I would reccomend everything you listed expect JoJo simply because I havn't seen it, not because it isn't good. Though maybe evangelion you should save for last, it is a bit weird and might be best after you're in an anime groove. A few others I would reccomend that you didn't list are...

Code Geass
Outlaw Star
Big O
Trigun
Soul Eater
Slayers (if you like oldschool stuff)

And about what some people have said about Highschool of the dead. Yes it is an ecchi anime, it has lots of bewbs and panty shots. However it is the first ecchi anime I was ever able to watch. It is good despite the fanservice, not because of it.

I can only talk about Highschool of the Dead and Sword Art Online.

Highschool of the Dead is pretty solid. Yes, there is a lot of boobs, panties, and various other women bits being shown. But the action is solid, it has some nice psychological stuff thrown in, and the story is all right. The characters are all pretty unlikable though. Each is a pretty big scumbag in someway.

Sword Art Online is very niche. Watch until the fifth episode. If you like where it's going, keep watching. If not, stop. The action is awesome when it happens, the romance is solid, and the setting is nerdy. The show does suffer from not knowing what it wants to be though. Action, romantic-drama, or mystery, it kinda tries all of these. If you also really stop caring after the first arc, then stop watching. You'll only grow to hate it.
