obviously the lets play by the unskippable guys is pretty excellent. but other than that, the funniest lets play ive ever seen is "pokemon crystal vietnamese version." the youtube user that made it is called deliciouscinnamon. it can be frustrating at parts because the two guys are very VERY bad at pokemon, but the content of the game is hilarious.

They're all the kind of LPs with funny commentary, and they're really good (even though 2 of the games really aren't). I like all of the LPs by slowbeef and Diabetus, but these are the best in my opinion. I also like their Retsupurae youtube channel.

Strikes you as the type who's not really trying to be funny, he's just being himself, and happens to be the sweetest, funnest guy around to play video games with. The sheer breadth of his material is staggering, too. RPGs like Icewind Dale, the original X-COM games (he has two LPs of that--one regular and one SUPERHUMAN ANTARCTIC CHALLENGE), Sid Meier's Covert Action, most of the Doom games to date (Doom 3 is particularly amazing)... both versions of Action 52...


Check him out. I guarantee you'll find something you like.

Definitely agree. Those Mario Party videos are hilarious.

If you want something more serious, try the Legacy of Kain LP: http://lparchive.org/Legacy-of-Kain-Blood-Omen/ (yes, the link says Blood Omen, but it's the whole series except for Blood Omen 2, which isn't really relevant to the awesome overarching story). This LP has the videos, which have amazing voice acting, and explains most of the story. Seriously, if you haven't played Legacy of Kain, watch it. It is amazing.

Or, if you want weirdness and a bit of humour, try the Drakengard LP: http://lparchive.org/Drakengard/ . LP'er tremendously takes the piss. Quite funny.
