Recommend me some exploration based games

Heya, with the summer sale upon us I've been meaning to find some games that have elements of exploration in them.

Preferably about exploring some lost, dead civilization, but anything that has a basis in exploring some kind of mysterious world that has great eye-candy would work.

This game can be like Sunless Sea, which is mostly exploration based, or Dark Souls, which is more combat focused but still has elements of exploration as you poke around Lordran.

I've been meaning to find some games that have elements of exploration in them.

Fun looking around in Far Cry 4.

Indy game "Far Sky" is a lark as is "a story about my Uncle".

I haven't had as much fun searching since Skyrim. That's actually kinda old now but if you have not played it, do so on PC with lots of mods.

I'm liking A Story about my Uncle; shit looks really interesting.

Besides that, I've already delved deeply into Skrim, so that's out, and Far Sky is kinday iffy for me because I'm not convinced that an indie dev team can pull off a game with that kind of scale, but I'll withhold any final judgements until it comes out.
