Remake : Shadowman

Shadow Man (Acclaim), was released in 1999. There has been rumblings about potential remakes for a while, but nothing has come about. There is currently a couple of facebook fan pages, and some of the original game creators are members, and they answer questions to the fans about the development of the game.

Shadowman was described at the time as being Zelda's Evil brother, its an accurate description. But what do the members of this forum think? Is it a game of worth? and would it be something that warrants a remake?

Welcome to the Escapist, please read the rules before posting, we don't like low content posts here.

Anyway, I guess it could work, but I think the original game had more than a few bugs which would need working out before it could be released, and the platforming aspect would definitely need an upgrade. (think along the lines of the Tomb Raider reboot.)

Also, I'm not sure if the revival of a relatively unknown game would garner much attention among the community.
