Played it today on my PC (Thank goodness it can run it on relatively Ultra settings)

One of the new features that while seems small, still surprises me is the option to board up windows which leaves me to believe that Zombies and Monsters re-spawn unless a permanent solution is met.

And I don't know what people are saying, but I find the weapon feedback decent enough I mean the Shotgun obliterates whole body parts.

I really liked it, totally looking forward to the full launch. The gore is meaty, the atmosphere is creepy, the zombies are more dangerous the zombies have been in a very long time.

If only they turned into Crimson Heads, that would have been fun and spooky.

But the fact that now the game is over the shoulder and you can aim at their heads at all times destroys the chance of Crimson Heads ever being added.

I don't know, I have a feeling they will totally do something like that since you can still kill them without popping their heads and there are a lot more then there were in the first resident evil.

The reviews have started to pop up and it's everything I've wanted in the game. I was afraid that they would short change us with the content from the original game, but Hunk and Tofu are in place as well as the B-side scenarios for both characters. I can't tell you all how happy it makes me to see that they have been completely faithful (minus the new control scheme and perspective which is fine) to the original.

It's an honest remake with a modern update and everyone is saying it's amazing so far.

Played the demo and controls feel good for the most part. It feels a little sluggish, but that might be because I am used to Evil Within 2's controls by comparison. I'll be getting the game early on Thursday night. Can't wait to be terrified.
