Well now yet another monster to the series with a bit of a split fan base and even a dying one perhaps. Upon seeing RE6's trailer for the first time I actually got pumped, to show Leon being back in action got my fandom through the roof(RE2 and 4 being my favorites, so I'm biased to Leon, plus he's bad ass) but not just that a long awaited desire a friend of mine has always shared with me comes true. Chris AND Leon both in the same game, with these two alone fans wrre probably raving. The trailer shows others off(Hunnigan and I would assume, Ashley Graham) however there's one character that sparked my interest more so. The man with Ashley, now I haven't seen anything to confirm it however it seems that he is none other than H.U.N.K. Which is a sense is logical, he's one of the most loved characters by fans given his small amount of screen time and overall mercenary badassery. Being a merc is mentioned by the character in the trailer so I'm led to believe it is definitely him. However not all is well with this game and me, it's mentioned by Capcom they're aiming for a very Call of Duty sort of deal to appeal to more gamers. Now I dislike CoD and just about any other modern day shooter so this put up a red flag for me(however that's my opinion, that might have excited some of you). The other thing revolves around H.U.N.K. if it is indeed him, it's mentioned the world needs him and his blood, he's also shown injecting himself with a shot of something. So does this mean Umbrella succeeded with a superhuman after all?(Aka: H.U.N.K. given he was a merc for them at one point I believe) Also it might just be me, but if this is the case do you also feel this kills his badassness? I always liked him because he was simply human, but if he's like a Wesker, well...yeah...meh on that.

Over all, are you pumped for it? Would you say it has more hopes than RE5(I really didn't enjoy RE5 all too much, I'm sure I'm not alone on that)? If that is H.U.N.K. is the superhuman thing going to ruin him in your eyes? Lastly, who else would you suppose is in this possible finale game? (Wesker, Ada, etc.)

if that is H.U.N.K. its amazing he's the new Wesker but because its him he's probably everything Wesker wanted to be, if that's not him it might be interesting

The Inability to Play Jill or Claire or any of these females has me Perturbed.

The Game started with a Jill Sandwich, and playing without one puts me in withdrawal.

In other news; I do like the return of old characters though I have been crying for somepony new for some time now, I do hope the Blood kid has a thrilling new storyline to add.

Without a female Protagonist I may still buy the game (After it goes on sale). Until then I shall enjoy Hunting Leon down in Raccoon City.

I'm kind of excited, but that is as far as I go. I like the pre-RE4 Resident Evils more than the more recent titles. If it's a step back towards the older games, then I might be more excited.

Idk, I saw an awful lot of explosions and jumping from helicopters and swat teams busting down doors etc. Too much action-movie garbage for me. Looks to be further in action direction than I had hoped. Still waiting for my RE2 remake :D

It seems like the Cod-appeal will be going for Chris' story. Leon's seems to be survival zombie shooty shooty whiz bang fun and Hunk(?)'s, from what the trailer showed, has some melee brawling in it.
Personally, I'm looking forward to it!

I'm equally pumped and disappointed. Seeing how the game is broken up into different sections each section has a pretty polarizing reaction from me. Leon's part looked awesome and got me completely pumped. When Chris's part and gameplay appeared I was immediately disappointed. I don't mind Resident Evil being an action game, but it isn't the kind of game you take on a horde of zombies with military back up. It should be you and a few other survivors trying to get out alive. The terrorist aren't people with guns, but biochemical weapons. Also I loath chest high walls. That's the quickest way for me to be disinterested in a game. The last part the gameplay looks good, but I still hate that character design. Can you think of something more bland than that? Most people probably don't care about character design, but I'm shallow and have trouble playing games with ugly protagonist (and also why I like Leon since he's not a generic protagonist). So my excitement and disappointment cancel each other out to neutral.
