Retro game tattoo ideas?

I want a tattoo, so I was thinking of something to do with an SNES game or arcade.
But all suggestions are welcome.

Edit: I have multiple tattoos, so I got the sentimental ones out of the way. I'm looking for a new one.

Its goin g to be said alot, but you shouldnt ask for opinions on tattoos. You want it to be somethign special to you.

However, since its dickish to just give a moral lecture, I'll repost after I find a good image of what I'm going ot suggest or think it completely through.

EDIT:

two ideas:

1) maybe a triforce, with the face of Ganon, Link, and Zelda in it, and behind the triforce over each triangle, one of the three orbs.

2) I know its not ocmpletely SNES, but maybe a Pokeball Opening with a triforce coming out, and mario's mustacheioed face as the one throwing it.


... yeah, I'm not really good iwth ideas like this.

What games did you like? start there.
Also don't get the tri-force it's almost as cliched as getting tribal tattoos anymore. I personally have seen 4 of them. Not counting god knows how many on the internets.

its not really a retro game idea but i really wanna get the hylian shield with the master sword behind it as a whole back tattoo but if that sound like too much then how about a picture of yoshi riding mario or some such jazz

Several people had said triforces, but suprisingly, I'm the first to say screw attack. I've also always thought that a full sleeve of Tetris blocks would be pretty neato, depending on how much you're willing to alter your body at the request of random strangers on the internet.

Whatever you do, don't get a triforce. They're overused, and if you get one people will be less "oh cool, geeky gamer girl!" And more "pffft, hipster tryhard".

How about something less retro? Get a Spyro the Dragon tattoo! Or get that line of Hare Krishnas from the original GTA games!

Just as random question...

How old were you when the SNES came out ? Like did you actually own and play on one ? If not, then I would say that a SNES tattoo is a bad idea.

I don't mean to sound patronizing, but most of the folks here are mid-late teens, and with that in mind, most people are younger than the SNES. I'm in my mid twenties and I'm not old enough to have owned a SNES.

In general I would say that asking for random ideas is the wrong direction anyway, since tattoo should mean something to you.

There's something just wrong with the world when appearing geeky is something you wanna show off and have people hit on you because of it. But I guess if you like neckbeared D20 wielding people with no personality, enjoy that.
