I'm sure alot of you guys(/girls?) have that classic game you have alyways loved to play ...and you download a rom emulator (romulator) only to find that game hasn't aged well.games that have deep lore and great charachters .The kind that currently have you dreaming of remaking it your self...
The kind that have you asking, What street fighter 4 has that a double dragon remake couldn't have or streets of rage wouldn't do , I'm not just talking about side scrollers,
(and yes i've seen bionic commando rearmed)but strategy games like metal marines or maybe a remake of C&C on the latest engine?
my personal dream would be syndicate wars(the sequal to syndicate) it was on the ps-1 and has a massive fan base, it was a squad based strategy but also could be a 4 player co-op it was fully 3d and had destructable enviroments and you could also rob cars kill civilians, indocernate civilians into your gang, rob banks shoot from cars blow up buildings (compleatly to the ground) rob tanks the list goes on, and it was released nearly 1 year befor gta-1.Its set in a neo punk future where corperations rule the world and people all controled by cybernetic implants which keep them happy. It contains 2 long campaigns for the factions of "The euro-corp syndicate"(rulers) and "the church of the new epoch"(insurgents)
but the maker (bullfrog) became part of EA and the game has been lost or died....or maybe a brave developer took the sequal and ran away to keep it from EA's grubby penny pinching hands
so anyways ......what game would you like to see remade and why
