Salutations, Escapist forumites, I am here to rouse discussion about a little something I have been exploring.

In my infinite stupidity, I have been trying to track down the definition for Geek and Nerd. Nerd was easy to pin down, but geek has been slightly more difficult to work with because I have narrowed ti down to two working definitions and one of the seems to be the right one, but the other still applies to many of us only without a name.

I further elaborate on the topic here [http://thatonerantinggeek.blogspot.com/2011/04/geek-rant-16-revisiting-geek-definiton.html] and before that, here [http://thatonerantinggeek.blogspot.com/2010/07/geek-rant-topic-05-nerd-or-geek.html]. Your reasonable and well thought out input is appreciated.

Isn't a geek a circus sideshow act that bites the heads off of chickens?

The fact that your this dedicated shows that your something far above both.
I am aware of my apperent insanity and my minor obsession with finding "THE TRUTH", I just wanted varied opinions on the topic and perhaps answers.

There is nothing more to be said.
I already reference that like twice, I'm fully aware of the silliness.

According to your definitions, I'm more of a nerd and not really a geek.
That's hardly an issue, these is mere exploration fodder than anything else. Overthinking for fun and profit if you will, without the profit
