Ride To Hell (or should I say THE WORST GAME YET)

Really? should we even bring this game up to the discussion board?

Good thing I haven't bought the game yet, I have quite heard of it's story, it was 2008 when the IP was announced, it was SUPPOSEDLY to be an open world biker game where there's a lot of good ideas and stuff that it would have been included by it. 5 years later and we saw the game hit the shelve stores,

After watching the Angry Joe review of it, I immediately erased all of my thoughts of buying the game, It included one of the worst gameplays EVER made in an game period. After watching the review I then head on watching more gameplay stuff of it, and I was very shocked to see what's more of this shyte of a game.

Bad gameplay
Awful looking graphics
Subpar sounds THAT IS not quite complete
Annoying bugs and glitches
WTF Storyline (even though it's first premise was good others say)
Shyte of a story progression, i think there's no story progression AT ALL!
OMGWTFDAFUQ Sax scenes (yes. This game has them goody ole biker Sax scenes, but it's executed WRONGLY)
All wrapped up together in one disc.

The two bad parts about this is:

the publisher Eidos (i think) has stated that they will make a franchise about Ride To Hell.
A, FRANCHISE. Three games are set to release in the next coming years.

The second bad part is that: THE GAME FUNCTIONS. It let's you face all of the BSness flawlessly.

This game is the epitome of the recently E.T tier games. I have never seen the day that another game can top off Mindjack's level of shyteness.

What are your thoughts about this... monstrosity of a game? Did you bought it and what are your impressions about it?

Well, after snooping around for awhile, it looks like the developers themselves have chiefly erased the game from their memories, so that's a good idea of its worth. Shame, it looks like it may have once had some potential.

I had to check the date of your post.. I'm sorry but, really, you're making a thread about this now? The game is at least 2 months old; Everybody with even an inkling of interest or curiosity of how bad the game is have Seen the AJ review, the TotalBiscuit video, and the Metacritic rating. The trial is over, judgement has been made, and he sentence carried out... a long time ago.

I think it looks intriguingly bad. Yes im one of those douchebags that loves terrible movies (i just sat through disaster movie) and i really think id enjoy this game for a giggle at how awful it is. If it ever pops up for a fiver ill pick it up just for a laugh.

this game looks like someone like myself has made it. They obviously had a load of ideas they wanted to put in it and a whole load of ambition but sadly they just didnt have the know how to make it a reality which is a real shame

To be honest I kinda like the stylised graphics (at least the character models). Everything else is pants, though.

I just want one person here that jumped on the hatewagon to have ACTUALLY played it.

Woah woah eaasy there, I got told by everyone I know that the game was released last friday, and yesterday the AJS review pops up on my subscriptions list, so I'm really sure to myself that it's a new game that just have been released.

Plus, I have watched a lot of gameplay videos of it, why would I waste my money for it right if I'm going to experience a huge ton of frustration and excruciating times IF I bought the game.
If I was wrong about this then I'm very sorry but you don't have to be all ragely mad at me because of this lol

But hey, from what I see about Mindjack, atleast it can help you forsee if you'll stop playing that monstrosity of a game because of it's sheer lack of playability, while Ride to Hell is functioning well, which means you will be forced to play the game just to find out if there's something worth a damn about the game.

atleast in my perspective that is what I see from both games.

I've actually played it and it really is terrible. And not in the sort of endearing "so bad, it's good" kind of way, like Deadly Premonitions, but just plain, unadulterated awfulness. Not worst game ever, but still one of, if not the worst this year so far.

The setting is the only thing inspired about this game. 60's biker gangs, I can dig that. Full Throttle is the only other game I can remember that has a similar theme. But the execution is so sloppy, so pointlessly dull, so awkwardly structured and has such shameless pandering that it really doesn't matter. And the worst part is that it takes itself seriously. It might've become "so bad, it's good" if they went for a pure camp, over the top exploitation style, but they didn't.
