Ridiculously painful truth about those like Flippy in HTF

I think the reason characters like Flippy, Splendid, and Buddhist Monkey are unfit to exist in Happy Tree Friends universe is for the same reason any superpowered beings that aren't Pokemon, Digimon, and Dudes in High-tech Exoskeleton(unless described as Toku characters) are unfit to exists in Pokemon Anime world, Digimon Adventure universe, and our world respectively?

I don't know who Splendid was, was he the candy obsessed one? I don't remember the monkey interacting with any of the main characters, but Flipping totally fits. He's seen the brutality of war first hand, so you could argue all his flashbacks happened and he just sees the danger of everyday life and can't stop thinking about the worst case scenario for all the events we see kill everyone 3 times a week. His mental breaks could just be his imagination going into overdrive as a coping mechanism for events he can't just walk away from.

Also its super violent and every cute fluffy character dies an exaggeratedly horrible, painful and gorey death, like deepthroating a blender or getting caught under a Zamboni or slowly boiling to death over a long labor day weekend.

Actually, Characters like Flippy, Splendid, and Buddhist Monkey are like Superpower characters in universes like Pokemon Anime(one that features Ash), Digimon Adventure/02/Tri, and Ours(when it's anything other than Pokemons, Digimons, and ordinary guys in mechanical suits respectively) *mind-raped to death*

It's three in the morning, and I'm tired as fuck, but I think I deciphered what OP tried to convey.

He thinks characters like the PTSD-ridden war veteran, the superhero, or the Buddhist monk fit poorly into the ensemble of Happy Tree Friends because they all have the capacity (and propensity) to easily kill other characters, while the original concept of the show was to have the characters die in gruesome, albeit accidental, manners, manners that do not involve the supernatural either.
