89 is a great age and he lived a great life. To me he'll always be Simon Templar before he James Bond, watching the re-runs of that as a kid was compulsive viewing.

Such a shame, while he did some of the more dodgy Bond movies, I really enjoyed "View to a Kill".
I remember I'd play a drinking game with my friend when we watched that, good times...

I like most of the Bond movies. Yes, there is a certain degree of sillyness in the older ones, but who cares? It's an adventure, and it's entertaining. Well, now we can imagine him relaxing with a drink in his hand with Richard Kiel, I suppose.
