So I've finally decided to pull my head out of the sand and get myself a smartphone, a rugged one to be more precise. Given my lack of expertise on the subject I would like some opinions from other users here on The Escapist.
Here are some criterias:
- It has to be rugged, preferably rated IP 67* or better (most rugged ones are 67). I don't want to treat my phone like it's made out of porcelain.
- Mid price range, although I may loosen up on that (but a Galaxy s3 is definately out of the question)
- Available on the European market, unless there is some way to bypass TEH SYSTEM.
I've found some candidates but I haven't got any further than that (These may serve as examples, feel free to recommend something else):
-Sone Xperia Go
-Motorola Defy+
-Samsung Rugby Smart (US only...)
*IP67 = highly dust resistant and able to survive 1 meter under water for 30 minutes
