So despite putting a "manly man of manliness" act and for the most part being true, I can have my heart strings pulled from time to time and I wonder if anyone else actually got to cry or come damn close to it while playing a game. Here's are mine:
I have to admit, Mass Effect 3 may be my least favorite in the franchise thanks to a lots of questinable decisions by Bioware and I not even talking about the ending here. (Well, I did, but shut up.) But it was full of my favorite moments in the franchise, especially the Citadel DLC which was the perfect send off for the crew of the Normandy. (Wish there were Dr. Chakwas moment as well as a Donnoly and Gabby one though)
And finally:
Hmmm... After this wall of text I am starting to think I am not the wall of manly manliness I thought I maybe were. But I can't be alone in this, right guys? Right?
Captcha: Stay safe. Yeah, you too captcha, you too.
There are a lot of sad scenes in this game, I remember Mordin final moments as the moment that almost sent off the edge. There was Legion also, but it was over so quickly that I didn't even managed to register his death. (I choose to unite the Quarians and the Geth)
There were three scenes in the games that did whoever sent me over the edge, I gonna tell them in the order I experience them:
The first one was Thane's death, the final prayer for Shepard set me off. He didn't deserve to die at the hands of Kei Leng... In fact no one did, Kei Leng was shit. I like to think as it moment to show how much of a motherfucking badass he was taking an assassin (Even a shit one) one on one suffering from the pains and dying the way he was, not one to show how Kei Leng is deadly (Because he is terrible). However the Renegade quick time event in Cerberus HQ "This is for Thane, you son of a *****!" gave some clousure and little glee on top of it.
The second was the end of the story post-party in the Citadel DLC, that was the moment to look back and realize that was probably the last that we will were ever gonna get with these characters. Yeah, sure, Bioware it's probably gonna find a way to shoehorn Garrus, Wrex, Tali and Liara back because they are fan favorites back into Mass Effect 4 like cameos, just like Dragon Age 2 had Dragon Age Origins characters show up at some point or another(Just you watch). But see they reunited like that in front of the Normandy interacting with Shepard the way they did, it was the last ride, one hell of a ride. "The Best". I just thought "Shit, after this game is done I gonna miss this universe and these characters" don't remember feeling like this about any other game.
The final was the smallest, but it hit me like a truck. If you take your Love Interest in the final assault on Earth, you get a tiny little scene with them before Shepard runs off to the beam of light in order to breach the Citadel. In my case was Tali, if you take her Shepard tells her to go to Rannoch and build herself a home, in which she replies "But I have a home" implying that her home is with Shepard. It's a very simple and very short exchange, but in terms of character felt huge. Tali never made much of a secret on how much she craved to have a planet where she and her people could live, set a home and live without masks on even if she had to destroy all Geth to do it. If Shepard wasn't there, she would've probably killed or at least tried to kill Legion to stop him from uploading the Upgrade code into the Geth in order to give the Fleet a go for an attack destroying all remaing Geth. So like a said, that very quick exchange contains some huge character development, then she asks him to come back to her.
Something that will not happen unless you have high Military Resources and do the Destroy end, which I did, sucked for the Geth, and EDI, and Joker. (I imagine there's probably something on the internet involving the Rule 34, your LI and the Control end, but let's NOT go there.) But it was the only one who made some sort of sense to me. Control is too much power for anyone to handle to have the Reapers doing their bidding like that, so that's out. And the spacebrat never properly explained what would happened in the Synthesis option, some bullshit about DNA, peace and shit, it would given peace, but it was never explained at what price aside from a very dead Commander. Anyway, Spacebrat was bit too much full of shit for me to even consider this option. (Not another Mass Effect 3 Ending Threat, I swear, but I had take a quick jab at it.)
So in my little headcannon he did come back to her, at a high price, but he did.

Yes, this is cliched as hell and even seen the spoilers before playing Episode 5. So this shouldn't have affected me the way it did, I imagine it would been much harder than it was if I was blind and I regret that I didn't.
So in end of Episode 4 Clem gets kidnapped by a misterious stranger and Lee get's bitten by a walker trying to recover Clem's hat that she drop it in a alley after getting kipnapped.
So episode 5 revolves around Lee's attempt to get Clementine back before he either dies from shock and lack of blood or dies from the zombie infection if you decide or not to cut his infected arm off.
Those final moments with Clementine was some of the strongest, teaching her all of the basics of the solutions Lee does for solving problems and eventually in my case, have Clem shot him in the head to teach her how harsh that world was and that she would have to do that more often in order to survive it.
Just keep that hair short, goddamnit

And finally:
There were four moments were I cried (Yes, cried) in this game:
The first one was with John at Rivers grave, it show it how much he cared for, how much he missed her and how much he felt completly lonely without her. It's a small moment very early on, but it set to mood for some of later parts of the game.
The second one came when at the park where John first meet River and we finally get the meaning of the bunny origami and also why John have an urge to go to Moon after River dies, that's because he promised if they ever separated, they would meet up again on the Moon. It's was a residual memory that he forgot.
Shortly after the second moment, comes the Third one. This one requires a bit more knowlodge of the game so I will give you a basicly run in: The game takes place in a near future, where there is a machine that can give new memories to people. The two main characters are scientist that works at a lab that offers services to terminal ill patients to replace their memories with happier ones of their choosing, but it is not something simple, since the memories must form in a natural reaction. So the two go into his memory from the most recent until the firsts memories changing one thing or another in order to all fall in place and result in the memories the patients paid for. Except John didn't seem interest in becaming an astronaut and going to the moon... at all. The two scientist later discover that the reason he wanted to go the moon was because he had lost River, so one of them figures that if River was gone, he might have a reason to became an astronaut. So her plan is to delete River from John's memories triggering him to go to moon. And the other scientist disagree, saying that without River, it was all worthless and they should leave him as it is. That whole exchange was good and it did got some tears out of my eyes before going and went being overall silly with that kill zombies section.
In the final moment, after the other scientist deleted River from John memories is revealed that her plan was not delete River completly, but if they never met after the first night together, that would trigger both of them try to find each other in the moon, so River would became an astronaut as well. The simple music, John's heartbeat falling in the real world as he was dying at that point and the memories of both River and John going to moon, that was my forth and final moment.
