Saddest moments in anime

Just watching some dvds of my collection of anime and found I was getting some what choked up durning the death and the turn of Kamina from Gurren. And I Came up with an idea to do a top whatever of saddest moments from anime. Has anyone else have a sceen or a moment that they almost, or did, ball there eyes out?

Yusuke's death (The second time...) was horribly sad because of Kuwabara's trying so desperately in vain to bring him back to life. I teared up at that point.

In Blue Gender, when the main character just got the shit kicked out of him, he barely manages to look up and he sees a little girl he befriended earlier in the episode. She's just staring at him, and then out of nowhere, an alien swoops by and takes her. He passes out and when he wakes up, he sees the girls dog, carrying his collar in his mouth, walk up to him and starts looking around for the girl.

It broke my heart when I was younger.

Which episode? How about every fifth, and closer to the end almost every second.

I cried like crazy during that series heres the general flow.

Good feelings, happy feelings, sucker punch you as hard as possible.... Things are getting better, starting to look up, sucker punch you again now feeling even more screwed up because you honestly thought things would get better, things start getting better, looking up, almost end of the series, The show not only sucker punches you but might as well just start showing pictures of kittens being put to sleep.

Its that depressing of an anime.
