Saints Row 4 is banned in Australia

Hey Guys, I am new member here. I and Australian gamers received a bad news earlier on, where the SR4 is banned by our classification board

This is ridiculous that the Australia R18+ classification has been approved half years ago, and without any reasons they refused to classify this game. To make it worst, The SR1~3 series were released in Australia without any problems at all.

What are your opinions? Do you think R18+ classification is useful anymore? To me, it doesn't make senses that they have these classification but they decided to banned R 18+ games.

They did give a reason, you might not like the reason but they are still there and they were openly discussed when the legislation pasted

You cant depict realistic drug use as a reward and you can't depict high impact sexual violence. That doesn't mean a character couldn't be raped but its unlikely you would get a game where you were a rapist through

Personally I think the bigger issue is that "realistic sex" is still banned for god knows what reason

Read about this on IGN, always thought SR:IV was going to be crazy, this just assured it.

Saints Row IV looks awesome, yeah i said it.
