Saint's Row 4 - The Glitchening

Hang on, this isn't me whining about actual glitches here, there's a thread for that already. I know. I'm coming to you Escapists for some advice on something -

Throughout the events of the game, the intentional visual glitches grow in severity as you clear out more of the town. In some areas where I've totally taken over the hood, the glitches become extremely frequent and noticable, to the point where it's actually becoming hard to do things. It's seriously driving me mental.

Now, I know what some of you are about to say - "You can disable them through cheats". But... Here's the thing. Disabling them in that way also locks achievements and autosaves, which is something I - REALLY - don't want to happen. So, here's my question for you, people -

On the Xbox, is there a way to disable these visual malfunctions, or use the No Glitches cheat without locking my achievements? Are there any tricks or workarounds to this arbitary rule?

I thought the NPCs only glitched out around the rifts? That's the only place I've seen them.

Oh, no no no. Not the NPCs, the terrain and cars. The terrain is almost constantly flickering, and the cars, sometimes even ones I'm driving, pixellise out, sometimes for seconds at a time. Needless to say, it's extremely distracting, and in the times I've needed to drive, it's caused several crashes. Go and do all of the City Takeover in a certain area, and you'll EASILY see what I mean.

I just beat the game and while I know what you mean, it didn't bother me whatsoever. I spent 75% of the game gliding overhead so I didn't really have the chance to get annoyed by the glitches.

I feel like some of the cheats should be moved to the simulation control computer though. I'm hoping future DLC will expand on that.

Aye, problem is, I'm working my way through the submissions, Clusters and city control. It gets a bit jarring when the entire Flashpoint i'm clearing suddenly becomes made of jelly for half a second.
