As a long time veteran of the BF series (1942, BF2, BC2, BC:V, BF3) I was dissapointed today when I learned that users of the PS3 get first shot at the new eagerly awaited patch for BF3.
Considering the only reason the patches were held back was thanks to needing to get the patches ok'd by Sony and MS respectively WHY did they not just push the PC patch out and use it as a way to beta test the fixes? I know full well the whole "closed system" thing and also the controls for the consoles are different compared to the PC but the PC doesn't need a verification process, nobody owns my system but me.
So why didn't Dice just push the patch to PC first and openly state to the consoles, "You don't like it? Complain to your respective online service for dragging their feet through the verification process."
