I can't even name ten.

Yet he's beloved by everyone. Including me.

How would you explain it?

Fixed.

Star Wars?

Snakes on a plane? (Alright, this is debateable)

Dunno, mayby it's becuase he's Samuel L. Jackson?

He's like Malcome McDowel, Good or Bad movie, he's still awsome either way.

The Escapist loves that movie.
But no one got the reference in the DA finale.

Off the top of my head:
Officer Tenpenny
Nick Fury
The Octopus
That jedi, Mace Windu

Star Wars
Pulp Fiction
Goodfellas
Jurassic Park
Die Hard With A Vengeance
Patriot Games (it was decent enough)
SWAT
Kill Bill
Resurrecting The Champ
Lakeview Terrace

etc, etc.

Not all of them are absolutely amazing, but how many good actors can you think of that have been in ten amazing movies? Probably very few.

Seriously? I guess only being 12 at the end of 90's means you had a much different experience then I did, didn't get a chance to take it all in proper. It was the man's best decade in films. Could have a lot to do with why you feel that way.

Haven't seen "A Time To Kill" brought up yet. 1996. 7.1 on IMDB. Directed by Joel Schumacher. Based on a John Grisham novel.

Sounds like a case of "I saw one movie with him in it that sucked and therefore I don't like him". I had this for Robin Williams. Then I watched Good Morning Vietnam and my perspective changed.

As for what films he's been in, the posts above me say it all. I was happy to see Goodfellas. I didn't expect anyone to mention Goodfellas as it is often forgotten.

People have already said a lot so I won't repeat them.

I will add Coming to America to the list. Love that film. He's only got a small part in it, but it always makes me smile, because he's shouting and calling people muther fuckers.

And so a legend is born lol.

He was in kill bill 2 ( the piano player at the wedding hall)

He was in Inglourious Basterds as the narrator in some parts of the film (explaining the flammability of the film tapes and explaining seargent hugo stiglitz)

Both good films

Edit: what actor *can we name 10 good films off the back of our hand for*? Its quite a short list

10 great films is asking alot imo

It's less about him being in good films, and more about how good he is in films.

You can hand the man a shit script and he will still be good.
