I meant I loved the animation of the old Samurai Jack, and that is why I am going to watch the new one.

The episode where he fights in the ninja in black and white was amazing (if a but stupid in concept).

The original show was really great. I remember an internet reviewer once said that you can learn more about telling a story in a visual media watching one episode of Samurai Jack than an entire semester of film school. In most episodes Jack barely speaks, and in a few he never speaks a word.

Truthfully, I was worried when they said they were going to go full blood instead of the usual robot path. I was afraid they'd be aiming for Attack on Titan-level of gore, but it seems they are going to keep it tasteful.

Your not worried that they might add "Fan-service" to this new season? I mean they already showed off these Killer Ninja chicks?

Eeeeee! I'm so excited! It's weird seeing Jack using guns instead of his sword... but this is just the trailer, so who knows?

Something I find rather unnerving about the trailer that has something to do to with that...where IS Jack's sword? Even when he's using melee weapons, I don't see it anywhere...that can't be good.

REALLY looking forward to this.

I actually heard that it was broken in a spin-off comic (damn it, something else I have to look for now), but it's possible Jack will get a new one from somewhere...

Anyway, this is also supposed to be a "limited series". Hopefully the show will get a proper ending this time around.

Oh man the comic showing how he got is Sword back was tear inducing.

Basically he had to create and earn his own sword since the prior one was bequethed to him by his mother and father.

I wonder how much action will be in each episode. Quite a bit of time used to be spent on lonely walking/travel sections. The contrast from that to the fight scenes gave the show a unique tone. I really hope that's maintained to some degree in the new season.
