Hey Guys,

I have an X Box 360 the original white one with a 250 gb hard drive added in. When I got the system I managed to get Final Fantasy 13 (Before you say anything, yes I like the game so far, yes I know my taste in video games is strange) thrown in for free and I played it for a while but stopped because of school.

I managed to get nine hours in and I wanted to come directly back to it. Problem is I popped it in yesterday, ready to start where I left off at the 9 hour mark that I was at and my save files aren't showing up in game. I looked at the memory in the X box and it has my save files logged in at the 9 hour mark where I was. But I can't get access to them through the game. Instead I'm stuck all the way at the beginning of the part I was at.

I was wondering if there was a way to ether get the game to read the save files that are clearly logged into my X box 360 Hardrive or something like that. I just want to get back to the spot I was and the spot that is clearly in the save files in the hardrive but the game doesn't seem to be detecting them.

Any suggestions?

Are you signed in with the same Gamertag that created the save files?

It sounds like you're trying to load the save files on a different Gamertag to the one that created them, so essentially you don't have permission or the digital rights to access that data.

*nods* I am. I'm the only one on the X-Box and I don't have live due to internet issues I occasionally have.

Save files are tied to gamertags, so if you're playing on a different gamertag you can't load your save.

Maybe your family members deleted it to try to deter you from playing, a noble act in my opinion.

but seriously, go to your system settings, and go to the harddrive section. I don't remember exactly how o get there but it should be easy enough, then see if the save is on your computer. If you want to double make sure: go to the part where you delete things off your HD, if its not there, its nowhere.
