Hey there,

On this forum I've noticed a trend of either loving or hating everything with a passion. In other words, a black and white mentality. Although, this does appear other places too quite frankly. In reality a game (or most everything for that matter) is rarely ever either purely awesome or purely awful.

Now, you cynical little cutiepies, I want to see your soft side. The concept is simple: take a game you don't like (or HATE WITH A PASSION RAWR!) and say something genuinely positive about it.

I wouldn't want to see posts like "the best part was when it ended!" and stuff like that here, but I'm not the boss of you.

I'll start:

Call of Duty: Black Ops
The multiplayer is really easy to just pick up and play. It works as a good time waster when you would like to, for example, listen to a podcast and have nothing else to do meanwhile.

Now, you go.

Black Ops: I liked seeing Rezhnov again, and I like the way they tied the two games together.

Gears of War 2: I liked Carmine. He was the only good character.

Allods: Best. F. "F2P". MMO. Ever.

:O So why is it a game I dislike, because they changed it from "F2P" to "P2W" around this time last year... so yeah.

Army of Two: 40th Day: Customizing the look of your weapons has never been so epic!

COD (all of them): nice multiplayer?

Morrowind: I liked how the journal stored and organised any rumours and information you had heard. That is all I liked about it.

X3: Reunion, you are probably the slowest, most tedious space-based game in all of existence. But, damnit, the whole premise of your gameplay just sounds so awesome. And you look so very fine.

Bad company 2: for mutiplayer, get a decent team and a decent squad, and it's good fun. If you don't have that, then good luck. And I guess seeing marlow having a bigger role was good...

Halo: Least it created a fairly rich fluff to look at. And the customization in Reach was fun, until it got beyond major I think.

Too Human: least the idea behind the game was cool. Shame it fell flat on it's arse with exicution.

Final Fantasy 8

The game (atleast at the time) looked gorgeous. I didn't even know the playstation was capable of this kind of graphics. And, as usual in the series, the music is amazing.

Damnation.. . .

You have fun weapons to kill stuff with. My favorite being a steam powered, rail-shooting gun that pins doods to walls....makes me happy!
