From when you were a child, or not. Your choice.

For me, I could never stand that dog from Duck Hunt, it had such an eerie laugh.

Hmm, I seem to be running low on air...

I would panic so much when this kicked in. I vowed to myself that I would never drown, just in case that's the noise it makes.

Everything seems to be fine so far.

Several locations in Grunty's Lair in Banjo-Kazooie used to really creep me out.
Mostly when gigantic grinning statues or sculptures of Grunty are involved.
I was eight years old, man!

Zelda LttP (Skull Woods dungeon) and OoT (Forest and Shadow temples) had some pretty scary moments for kids. I still find OoT's Forest Temple kind of unnerving (that music...). They really nailed the "abandoned and hunted forest manor" feel with it.

Was Majora's Mask rated E? Well that game kind of freaked me out. The entire atmosphere of that game is unnerving and depressing. I love it :)

Pretty much everything about Heart of Darkness for the PS1. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYyZfME5XYY]

It managed a 3+ in the UK, too. Bearing in mind we gave a 12+ rating to fucking Sonic Rush Adventure.

Well there's Heart of Darkness. I haven't played it myself, but I have seen this:

How the hell did this get an E-rating??

Well there goes my answer. However, to not just use this post to agree, I shall add, that while not a "moment" per se, Lavender Town was pretty damn creepy.

The music did not help.
