As in, do you get a craving for a certain game or series during a certain time of the year, every year?

The Silent Hill thread reminded me of how in early spring I get a penchant for it. Bonus if the weather is also cloudy and a generally dank looking atmosphere is present. Even if I don?t actually play any of the games, I?ll at least end up watching, listening or reading something about them. Probably nostalgia more than anything from when I first discovered the series.

It's Summer where I am and I just had an entire month's fill of the very tropical Just Cause 2. But more often than not Summer gets me nostalgic for JRPGs, I guess because historically this was the time of the year I could dedicate so much time to them. For me January will always be the month of Dragon's Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, Tales of the Abyss and the entire Kingdom Hearts series.

I used to replay Max Payne, semi-annually, when there was snowing heavy outside.

And yeah, i actually did play through some of the SH series with similar foggy weather outside.

Summer has randomly become RPG season for me (Summer is right now.) I just finished replaying DA:I. Finished D:0s2 a little while ago. Last year was Pillars of Eternity and System Shock 2. Before that Fallout 4. Before that DA:I. Before that (if you can count it) Xcom 1 and DA2. I think that makes the next year 2012 - which was Baulder's Gate 1 & 2. Cant remember much before that

Every Halloween I play Outlast and/or Condemned. Also during the summer I enjoy playing Roller Coaster Tycoon.
