I can't believe you forgot...shrekfan246 said:Uh... yeah?
Sonic isn't their only franchise, and especially if you look at everything they've done in the last twenty-two years since the first one was released. I suppose it partly depends on what you mean by "made" though. Sonic Team makes Sonic games, so technically they're not really "made" by Sega, but a subsidiary of Sega. By the same banner, Sega has Yakuza, ChuChu Rocket!, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star, Shenmue, Crazy Taxi, Golden Axe, House of the Dead, NiGHTS, Sakura Wars, Shinobi, Skies of Arcadia, Super Monkey Ball, Total War, and Valkyria Chronicles.
That's not even counting games they helped fund and published.
Where did you leave Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg!? That game was incredible. Great level design, innovative gameplay, and a whole lot of love made up this game's structure! It's just so happy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BSkog6uT4Soshrekfan246 said:Uh... yeah?

Bringing back streets of rage would be awesome.Akalabeth said:I wish Sega would go back and revive some of their older brands.
I mean . . .
They are already sort of doing this, aren't they? Sonic Allstars Racing Transformed is going for ?40 at retail (instead of the usual ?60). I picked it up this weekend, and it is utterly brilliant! Actually, I'm finding myself enjoying more and more SEGA games the past few years. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I find their games to be refreshinging 'different', they feel a bit old school in a very Japanese way. More than anything, they're FUN to play.Amethyst Wind said:SEGA is a great publisher of single-player games that don't fit the AAA build. If they modified their pricing to reflect this (I think selling at 5/8 the price of AAA games would work) then they could carve out that corner of the market for themselves.
Alpha Protocol, Deadly Premonition and Binary Domain are great examples of this.
