self centered vs self conscious

Who is the worse person?

examples:

One person is so self centered that they are oblivious to everyone around them and when they are forced to know someone personally, they can only really think of ways to use that person to their advantage.

The other person is so self conscious that they project their insecurities on everyone around them and constantly judge, insult, or compare them selves to others.

I think I'm using these psychological dispositions correctly... Maybe?
