Sequels that were better.

Do you know of any sequels that are better thrn the originals.
For me it HAS to be KH2. KH1 was (and still is) a great game but KH2 is more in nearly every way. I sing songs to praise it and for me is the only GOOD game Squaresoft has made since their partnership with ENIX...
So what's yours...

For me it HAS to be KH2.

Agreed almost entirely - gameplay was more fast-paced, worlds were more varied. Although Disney clearly gave them more influence over the storyline...which led to it making very little sense IMHO. But the increased gameplay speed more than made up for it.

OT: The Timesplitters series arguably got better with every sequel. Your mileage may vary re: Future Perfect but TS2 was a vast improvement over the original game, for sure.

I have to admit that New Moon is leagues better than Twilight. Don't get me wrong, it's still a pile of crap, and the entire series is far too popular than it should be, but in New Moon's favor, it's HILARIOUS! I lol'd my ass off at the scene where the loving, protective Edward shoulder-checks Bella across a room and into a wall.

Kingdom Hearts 2 totally beat out KH 1 and Persona 4 in my opinion beat out 3 (not that ti's a direct sequel completely but oh well) and I'm one of the few souls who liked Chrono Cross over Chrono Trigger.

NW2 kicked NW1's balls in, BG2 did the same to BG1, Icewind Dale 2 ditto to ID1. . . i wish there was a planescape torment 2...
Aside from those I'd say fallout 2 was slightly better than Fallout 1; and Hopefully New Vegas will be better than Bethesda's Post Nuke Game 1... Because I refuse to call that fallout.... 3.
