@Losty: Aye, that I did see. I was quite impressed by it, too, as I've never seen an RP get reviewed before.

And yes, I loved Raisen. :D

@Nukey: Hey, when does your RP start? I'm interested. I've never RP'd before and I want to give it a chance. I know not to godmode, but is there anything else I should know? You guys posted a ton of info on what and what not to do, but is there anything missing? Anything vital? If you don't want me, just let me know.

@Hope: NOOOOOO!!!
... Though, I must say, that was a good strategy. I would have never thought of making armor. The best defensive strategy I made was... hiding in a box. :p

@WarP: Character development. The more the better. Don't just be the mysterious stranger blowing in off the plains with no name or backstory. That's annoying to try and work with.

@War Penguin: It'll start when it's done, so likely in a week or two.

As for vital things to know, just detail your posts and try to post once a day or so.

God, I love the newbies, they're just so cute with their questions. :3

@Lost In The Void: I had little to say. /:,

@WarP: Always write more than one line in-character. I hate one-liners, but I'll put up with them unless they can be avoided. They rarely contribute to the events at hand, and the lack of detail just irritates me. As an analogy, one-liners are an ugly zit on the clean face that is RPing.

@CounterAttack: I heartily support this statement!

I can't stand one-linears, they're just so flow breaking. D:

@Neo: No videogame character cliches, got it.

@CA: Use more dialogue than just a sentence. Will do.

@Nukey: Add detail. Okay. Thankfully my english teacher made us write descriptive short stories for half of the year, so that might not be a problem.

And newbie? Aw man. Just when I got used to be a regular on the main forum, I'm back to where I started in the RPs and the PubClub.

Thanks guys. I think I got it. I'll do the best I can not to screw up. :p

@Nukey: I had to lay down the law to stop Rain posting one-liners earlier in Demigods. It was like we could only see the surface of his characters. No depth, no development, not even what they were thinking. It was terrible.

@WarP: Good luck, and may you never suffer writer's block. =D

@neo: What do you mean? I see it as a way to retain the authenticity of a Western Setting, while challenging the writers and generally having a good time

@LITV: Mind if I join or do you prefer some more experienced RPers? Again, I just got a sh*t-ton of tips but I'm still a bit shaky.

@Nukey: G'night.

I'm derailing the current train of posts entirely with a second contribution to the Rainboq debate. I know this is a bit late, but I felt the need to bring it to the attention of future GMs who may accept him.

Nukey said:
@CounterAttack: I'd have to agree, Rain's kind of a nuisance about things like that, though I think he might just lack self-restraint more than anything else rather than being in it to win. :/
@Nukey: This is Rain's major problem, at least to me. Another excerpt from Demigods chat:

Rainboq said:
1. I have mild OCD when it comes to my characters and the plans I have for them, so if they are derailed by, a gm for example, I tend to get irratble and argue, like you've seen.

2. This is something that we've discussed before, but I feel that I bears repeating, when ever I do something, like a post for example, I'm not thinking "is this within the rules?" or, "will this piss someone off?", I'm just writing my post in accordance with my ideas and plans. I'm not trying to be arrogant, but no matter what I try, those things just don't enter my mind.
With regard to point 1, I don't think it's OCD. In full knowledge that there is the possibility of Rain reading this right now, I think it's just him trying to get his way every time he does something. He frequently backs up actions that we question with "character development" in an OOC post, or something that he thinks as opposed to his characters. I can provide examples of this if necessary.

In addition, I advise any GMs to limit Rain to one character. In Space Opera he tried to produce multiple copies of the same super-powerful character, each with a different personality and/or appearance, and have them all under his control. Thankfully this was quickly dealt with.
